Tooth Extraction Near You
Tooth extraction may be required for a variety of reasons, including dental trauma and injuries, dental diseases that cannot be treated, or dental crowding. Although our dentists will do everything possible to save a tooth before extracting it, there are instances when it is in the best interests of your oral health to remove a tooth. Our dentists are experienced in providing simple tooth extractions for patients.
How Tooth Extraction Procedures Are Completed
Tooth extraction procedures require detailed planning in advance of the extraction procedure. Our dentists will often take comprehensive dental x-rays of the structures near the tooth or teeth to be extracted. We will assess factors like the depth of the tooth roots and the positions of the nearby teeth in order to plan the extraction. We use a local anesthetic to numb the area and then use several dental tools to loosen and remove the tooth.

Wisdom Tooth Extraction
The wisdom teeth are the last of the permanent molars to erupt in the mouth, but they often come along with several serious dental health concerns. Our dentists monitor the development of these teeth below the surface of the mouth, watching for potential issues in their eruption. In some cases, we will recommend having one or more of the wisdom teeth removed to prevent overcrowding or incorrect eruption, or to decrease the risk of infection.
